Go Rays!

Would you believe we left the beach on Thursday (after a quick beachside shower) and went STRAIGHT to the Tampa Bay Rays game!?! Well, why not? It's Roadtrip Week! Aaron has weekday season tickets to the (front row ... although out in the outfield), but he got tickets from a friend yesterday so the kids could be closer to the action.

Our first stop once in the stadium was out to the Stingray tank near Aaron's regular seats. It's SO unique ... you can reach in and pet the rays. And if you're brave enough, join them??? No runs for the Rays while we were there (we stayed until the 5th inning), but our team ended up coming back later and winning 3-2 (we missed two Rays' homeruns!) Oh well ... we had a good time, and as promised (by Uncle A), the kids got cotton candy. Nothing like hoppin' them up on sugar then sending them back home to Orlando, huh? Guess that makes Aaron a smart uncle!
