This is Artists Week - the first in a series of fun, themed (at least I think they sound fun!) weeks that make up "Mommy Summer Camp." Emily Smith (who had her two front teeth pulled today, just like Abby did back in March) came over to join in the fun. We gathered nature and other items from the backyard and used THEM as our paintbrushes. We were saving those for another project (see the next post). On Tuesday, we'll do another art project, and we're going to experiment with some poetry.

"Nature" sure is popular in the Florida Schnittker house. When I was growing up, we never would have thought to do something that interesting. I wish I was there -- would liked to have participated.
