Muy Bueno!

Catching up on the blog after a busy weekend. We started it off with Abby's Kindergarten Spanish program - which was just "fabuloso!" All seven kindergarten classes joined forces to entertain the parents on Friday morning, then we joined Abby in her class for a short reception. The big news at the party: Abby's teacher, Mrs. Shaw, told all of her students (and parents) that she's pregnant. She's due in September, so fortunately Abby won't miss out on a minute with her this year. Mrs. Shaw truly is the best!Anyway, at the program, each class got up and sang one Spanish song ... then they all served as backup singers for the other classes. We were all so impressed with what they've learned so far this year in Spanish, which is one of five special areas they have at Roberts (this year ... we're crossing our fingers that budget cuts won't affect these great programs!) As you can see, my seat kind of stunk. I had to hold the camera up to get this shot. But I zoomed in on this one and cropped it a bit. If you look really hard, our little "chica" is on the far left (actually second from the left) in the green dress.
