We experienced all different types of weather in Orlando this past weekend. First rain at Disney, then ICE!, and on Sunday night: snow!
Well, it's actually soap ... but don't tell the young Floridians that! The tourists who know better just play along ... and those who don't know better (our children) thought it was pretty neat!
The minute the snow started falling, Tyler took off and wouldn't stop running through Market Street (in Celebration). We thought he was going to get bulldozed (and he eventually did), but he ran full tilt for about 15 minutes until Dennis caught up with him.
I thought it was hysterical ... but then again, I was glad he was just running ... and not making "snow" angels like some of the other kids. We set the ground rules before the snow began to fall: no putting the snow on your head, no laying in the snow, no eating it (all the basics!) Abby just loved dancing to the fun Christmas music they were playing. She was content to do many "twirls" to let me experiment with my camera settings. She looks like a vision of red and green in the second shot.
We ate in the diner on Market Street and caught the Celebration Express to start off the Christmas season right!
