Happy Birthday to my grandmother, Betty Taylor, who turns 82 today (this photo of she and Tyler was taken last month when she came to see his preschool Christmas program)! Most of you know her as Nanny, sewing extraordinaire! It's true ... the results of her fabulous work hang all over our house - and on our children. If not for Nanny, we would look a mess! Poor Tyler would be wearing overalls that are too big (Nanny is forever moving buttons so our short little guy's pants aren't dragging) and Abby would be showing her panties off (Abby is in that stage where all of her hems need to be let down!) Guess what my 82-year old grandmother had lined up for today? A haircut, voting, a trip to the YMCA, and a meeting of her neighborhood homeowner's association! No - she's not bored! We'll get her out to celebrate the birthday soon! Love you Nanny!
