Abby is a very creative player. Thought you might like to see what she had going on under the activity table the other day. It was a TeddyBear Tea To-Do (TTT)! Not only did she set the table and arrange a tray of treats (a girl after my own heart) ... but she made entrances for the bears as well as a welcome sign. We decided to start having her draw
a picture when she comes up with one of these elaborate games (yesterday it was a farm in her room ... complete with a pen for each animal ... and they dressed up as cowgirls/boys to boot ... no pun intended!). The best part about this pad of paper is that it has a place for words. So, after she sketched the scene, we wrote a story about the tea party. I hope years from now, she will enjoy reading these stories ... because I think they are great now!
