Well, today I went against the wishes of my mother. True, it was something she said 25 years ago ... but that's neither here nor there! I tried Kool-Aid!I don't know if Aaron and I were already hyper enough and she didn't want us to have the extra sugar (sometime ask me to tell you about the ban on sweet cereals) or if we were really messy drinkers (probably so) ... but we were never allowed to have Kool-Aid. Today, Dennis found some in the pantry that I had purchased back when I was trying some homemade play dough recipes (yes - there's a Kool-Aid one) and a couple packets had never been used. Well, I tried it! Take that Mom! Here's a picture of me being sassy ...
Funny thing is, I didn't really like it. Kool-Aid is VERY sweet. Mom was right! Don't you hate when that happens!?!
